New “She Was Too Low Level” Poll Driven Story

You can find the first entry of a new “She Was Too Low Level” poll driven story below the break.

Content Warnings/Kink Spoilers: This is a super short entry (just a bit over 700 words) to introduce the main character, so there’s no sex yet.

Thalris Peaceguard, Level 2 Bard

Thalris Peaceguard sat with her chair leaning back resting against one of the support beams of the Adventurers’ Guildhall’s tavern-like common room. She was playing her lute and singing an upbeat, bawdy tune to the delight of all around her. This left the Elven Bard preening, happily laughing between lines as other members of the Adventurers’ Guild cheered and added lewd lines to her dirty song.

The cute Common Elve adored being the center of attention, at least when she was performing. She felt she was her most true self in these moments, able to open up in ways the normally shy woman struggled with. Even the sexual attentions of others, something she struggled with above all else, was something she could bask in while performing songs so filthy they’d make most sailors blush.

Thalris was a performer who easily drew the attention of all around her. The Elven woman’s voice had an almost magical, enchanting undertone no Human could match. Then there was her beauty. She had the slender figure most Common Elves had and dainty, cute facial features that left her looking eternally youthful even though she was hundreds of years old.

Normally she kept her long, well-brushed dirty blond hair half covering her face. It was a way for the cute, shy Elven woman to hide from the world. But when performing she’d pull it back, tucking her hair behind her long, pointed Elven ears. It was a display that would draw even more attention to herself, especially as she often tried to hide her ears and cute Elven facial features under a cloak and hood when not performing.

Although in moments like this, when she is performing and basking in the attention of a crowd, she FELT her most true self the truth was the raunchy singer the world knew was a false front. The shy woman she was at all other times, the one that was a novice Adventurer only ranked as a level two Bard, was the REAL her.

Unlike the performing version of herself, that woman shied away from all sexual attention. Only while singing could she take on the role of sexual deviant, but in reality she was an Elven woman who wasn’t even sure if she’d undergone her sexual awakening. She MIGHT have, but she wasn’t certain. Every time she’d tried to bed someone, or even when she’d tried to pleasure herself, she got so nervous and bashful she never followed through.

It was something she worked hard to keep a secret. She adored the attention she got while performing dirty tunes, but that attention always turned to mockery if people started to suspect she wasn’t anywhere near as sexually experienced as she presented herself as being.

Try as she might the truth always seemed to come out. When it did she’d pack up and move on to a new Adventurers’ Guildhall in a new area where no one would know her reputation as the “virgin bard singing bawdy lies”.

This constant moving was a large part of why she was still so low level even after being an Adventurer for so long. She rarely stayed at any one Adventurers’ Guildhall long enough to get accepted into a party where she’d be safe to take on quests that would give her the experience she needed to increase her skill as an Adventurer and Bard.

She’d spend days or even weeks waiting to find a new party wanting to take on a novice Bard or find a solo quest safe enough for her to take on. During this time she made the money she lived off by performing in whatever Guildhall she was working out of. Inevitably the rumors of how flustered she became when anyone tried to bed her would start to spread and the cheering crowds would start to pick up on the truth. And then before she’d had the chance to join a party or trained up her skills during solo quests she’d need to move on.

This time, in THIS Guildhall, she was determined things would be different. Something about the place felt different to her, special in some way she couldn’t put her finger on. Like it was where she’d meet some important fate that had been waiting for her.

She’d also heard the Guildmaster, a friendly older Human man, was someone who provided opportunities to inexperienced female Adventurers most other Guildmasters wouldn’t normally offer. Even if she didn’t find a party to join at least she might find opportunities to level up she might not find elsewhere.
